I have been catching up on my knitting vidcasts today and was thinking of a book that I just finished a couple of months ago on Eleanor and Franklin Deleano Roosevelt. For me, I knew she knitted. Did a research paper on knitting for vitory campaign during WWII. I think I would like to do some research to see what she actually knitted and what women knitted during the WWII era. The following link seems of promise. Don't think I have the right type of hands for these mittens but cute all the same!

So as I asked before in my mulling, what would ER knit? Wonder how many people we knew or know knit and we don't realize it.
